How to Clean a Crab
Our crabs are fully cooked and can be served cold, steamed, boiled, or broiled for 4-5 minutes.
- Remove the back shell by holding the base of the crab in one hand
and with the other, grab the back shell with your thumb under the back
edge and pull it off.
- Remove the gills on both sides.
- Wash away the yellow guts, or “crab butter” under a stream of cold water.
